Hoops grid

Hoop Grids is a daily trivia game in which players must identify a particular basketball player who fulfills the requirements specified in the grid's rows and columns. Sports Reference, a database of sporting leagues and tournaments, serves as the engine for the game.

All-Defensive Team, 1,000 Blocks in a Career, 50 Points in a Game, and 10 Assists in a Game are the game's four statistical milestones. The grid sizes vary from 3x3 up to 5x5 depending on the category. Team names, positions, years, and statistics are just some of the hints that may be found in the grid's rows and columns. With just nine guesses at most, the player must fill up the grid with the name of the player who best fits the clues. The game is won if the player correctly guesses all the names, and the result may be posted online. The game is over if the player runs out of guesses or makes a bad guess; they may try again the following day.
