Kanja Wordle is a Chinese Hanzi variation of Wordle, a popular word game where you have to guess a four-letter word in ten tries or less. The game is created by Anthony Fu and Inès, who are both fanatical open sourcerors and creators of many other projects such as Vitest, Slidev, VueUse, UnoCSS, Elk, Type Challenges and others. The game is played by entering a four-character Chinese word or phrase, along with its pinyin (romanization) or zhuyin (phonetic symbols). After each guess, the characters and the pinyin/zhuyin will be color-coded to indicate how close they are to the correct answer. The game has different modes and settings that you can choose from, such as simplified or traditional characters, color enhancement, tone marks or numbers, hints, strict mode and more. You can also switch between pinyin, zhuyin or shuangpin (a shorthand input method) for the phonetic input. The game is inspired by Wordle, made by Josh Wardle, and also has links to other Chinese Wordle variants such as 拼音猜成语 (Guess Idioms by Pinyin) by limboy, 成语 Wordle (Idiom Wordle) by Chee Aun and 猜文字 (Guess Characters) by Jinke Du
