Mathler is a math game that is similar to the popular site Wordle in that players try to guess a correct mathematical expression with a given result in 6 tries. The game's objective is to identify the mathematical expression that is a specific result and of a specific length. On each turn, players will submit the response after entering a valid expression using numbers and operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), and the game will provide a color-coded response: Green when the character has been placed correctly, Yellow when the character is in the response but has not been placed correctly, and Gray when the character is not in the response.
For example, if the result is 40, a player could submit responses such as 8*5, 50-10, 10 30…but only one response was correct, regarding character order. The game challenges your basic math understanding, but it also requires the ability to think logically and attempt and fail quickly.
