Strands Archive

Designed to test and increase the player's vocabulary and logical thinking abilities, The New York Times' amusing word puzzle game Strands Archive Combining word search with hidden theme discovery, the modern game offers an intellectual experience that is both hard and leisurely.

How to play?

Playing in Strands Archive will see players facing a board of randomly placed letters. Every level centres on a major subject; your goal is to locate all the words connected to that theme by dragging the mouse or finger to link neighbouring letters.

Every level also features a "spangram," a unique long word covering the major theme and running across both sides of the board. Finding the spangram will enable you to better design the other words you require.
