Word Lie turns your trust in the traditional word-guessing puzzle genre on its head. Rather than providing perfectly accurate color-coded clues after each guess, the game sneaks a lie into the feedback tiles.
You aren't just deciphering a mystery word; you must also play detective to expose exactly which tile contains the system's deception. Suspicion runs high, transforming a simple vocabulary game into a psychological battle and a test of multi-layered logic.
So, you still have six tries to identify a five-letter word, essentially. You type in a term, and the system responds with the usual three colours. Green ( letter in correct place ), Yellow ( letter exists , but in the wrong place ), Grey ( letter does not exist ) .
But Word Lie has one key twist: one of the colour clues in each round of feedback is a fake.
The Grey tile might potentially be a Green letter.
A perfect-green tile might be a “trick,” with that letter not in the goal word at all.
This forces you to constantly question and cross-reference every piece of information before making your next move.
