The digital game Word Mesh is a new take on the old word search task. You have to look at a board full of jumbled letters and find language words that make sense, that are cleverly hidden among them.
The rules are simple; anyone can start playing right away. Next to or below the letter grid, there will be a list of words you need to find.
Find the letters that make up the word in the grid. Use your finger or mouse and cursor. Press and hold the first letter. Drag and swipe to the last letter of the word. Correct words will be highlighted and crossed off. Finding all the words advances you to the next level.
Don't just stare aimlessly at the letter grid. Apply expert scanning techniques.
Look for the unique letters in the term instead of the first letter, which is usually a frequent vowel like A, E, or O.
Don't seek E or U. Look for J or G on the board. These letters are rare, so if you see them, the term you want is probably there.
Keep your eyes focused. Get used to scanning horizontal rows from top to bottom. This ensures you don't overlook any board area.
At higher difficulty levels, the game will trick you by writing words backward.
